Community Engagement and Showcases: Lead the organisation of outreach events and project exhibitions, showcasing the team's current projects to the university and external stakeholders.

Inventory Management: Efficiently manage inventory, ensuring materials and equipment are well-organised and readily available in good condition for use.
Quality Control: Regularly inspect inventory for any issues, and coordinate with the Operations Lead for repairs or replacements as necessary.
Storage and Organisation: Ensure all items are stored safely, optimising space and preserving the condition of the equipment.
Equipment Distribution and Tracking: Oversee the distribution of equipment to various project teams, tracking the distribution and return of these items.

As a Tech Officer at MATT, you're a vital member of our tech team, providing in-depth expertise and support in our six key focus areas. Your role involves guiding project members through technical challenges, leading enriching workshops, and enhancing our tech capabilities through hands-on support and continuous learning.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
Primary Tech Contact: Act as the primary liaison for tech-related inquiries, providing 2-3 hours of in-person tech consultation weekly and support asynchronously.
Training Facilitation: Organise and deliver workshop plans for MATT training sessions and courses, conduct inductions and develop knowledge banks.
Specialisation in Key Focus Areas: Focus and offer specialised knowledge and skills in one of our six primary tech areas:
Hardware: Design (ID, Product) | DFab | Electrical Eng.
Software: AI (HLP, NLP) | Backend | UI/UX
