The project aims to develop a system that can reduce the visual clutter in a scene by identifying and removing extraneous visual elements that may distract or overwhelm the viewer, using computer vision techniques.
The ultimate goal of the Visual Clutter Simplification through Virtual Reality project is to improve the quality of life for individuals who may be easily overwhelmed by complex visual scenes, such as those with autism, ADHD, or anxiety disorders. By using virtual reality technology to simplify visual scenes, the project aims to make it easier for these individuals to navigate and interact with their environment, reducing stress and improving their overall well-being. This technology may also have applications in other fields such as architecture, design, and entertainment.
